A. Information you provide

• • We do not require you to create an account to use the App.
• • If you contact us for support, we may receive the information you choose to share (such as your email address and a description of the issue).

B. Information collected automatically

Depending on how you use the App and the device you use, the App may collect:

• • App usage and diagnostics: basic telemetry needed to keep the App working reliably, such as crash reports, error logs, and purchase event confirmations. This data is sent to our own servers (brightcompasspress.com).
• • Device and app information: such as device model, operating system version, screen size, language/locale, and app version. A random session identifier is generated each time you open the App; it is not persistent and is not linked to your device or identity.
• • Purchase and entitlement status: when you buy or restore puzzle packs, the App receives confirmation from the app store (Google Play / Apple) that a purchase occurred and which product was purchased.
• • Network information: the App periodically connects to our servers to check for content updates. These connections may expose standard network information such as your IP address.
• • Local data: the App stores your puzzle progress, settings, and downloaded content locally on your device. This data is not transmitted to us.

C. Payments

All payments are processed by the app store platform (Google Play Billing on Android; Apple In-App Purchase on iOS). We do not collect or store your full payment information (like credit card numbers). The store may provide us with limited purchase details needed to unlock content.

3. How We Use Information

We use the information described above to:

• • Provide and operate the App and its features (including unlocking purchased content).
• • Improve stability and performance (debugging, crash analysis, quality improvements).
• • Respond to support requests and communicate with you if you contact us.
• • Protect against abuse and security issues.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in these situations:

• • Our servers: Crash reports and diagnostics data are sent to our own servers (brightcompasspress.com, hosted with Contabo in US Datacenters) for analysis. We do not currently use third-party crash reporting services.
• • App stores: Purchase processing is handled by Google Play / Apple and governed by their privacy practices.
• • Legal and safety reasons: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the public.

5. Data Retention

Diagnostics and telemetry data (crash reports, error logs, and purchase event confirmations) are automatically deleted after 90 days. We may retain other information (such as support communications) for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described above, unless a longer retention period is required by law.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

7. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you. You can also:
